The Brother Lib Room

Brother Lib's Travelling Salvation Show

Following the success of his first album Lie-a-lot, people began asking Paul
"when will your next album be out?" Well, all good things take time,
and parody writing is no exception. Also, Paul wanted to make sure
the second album would meet listeners' expectations. It did!

Featuring 14 full-length parodies, Brother Lib has fun
with the Clintons, Ross Perot, Colin Powell, the press,
the Secret Service, and others. Many folks enjoy listening
just for the great music, but the clever lyrics - always one
of the hallmarks of a Paul Silhan parody -
double the listening pleasure.

Brother Lib Himself

Brother Lib's Travelling Salvation Show

Say "Hallelujah" and pass the french fries! It's Brother Lib himself, spreading the gospel of Big Gov'ment. Sung to Neil Diamond's Brother Love's Travelling Salvation Show.

The Clinton Bash

The Clinton Bash

"Boris" looks into why so many talk radio listeners are "expressing doubts . . . about
the President and his charming spouse" in this spoof of The Monster Mash. Voted one of the best on the album by just about everyone who's heard it.

The Little General

(Ross Can't Get No) Satisfaction

The Little General himself discusses the sources of his frustration.
Paul's impersonation, sung to The Rolling Stones' Satisfaction, hits the mark.

Bill and Newt

The Speaker And The President Should Be Friends

A hoot ! Featuring "Ted Kennedy" and shouldn't be missed for that reason alone.
A take-off on The Farmer and the Cowman Should Be Friends from the Broadway classic Oklahoma!

Inaugural Ball

Inaugural Ball

The song that explains why Bill "won't be playing sax at the Inaugural Ball." Based on The Cyrkle's Red Rubber Ball, it's also one of the nicest musical pieces on the album.

Webster, Bernie & Mike

Webster, Bernie & Mike

Didn't the Clintons say they would have the most ethical administration ever? Another promise broken. A spoof of Dion's Abraham, Martin & John.

Big Gov'ment

Big Gov'ment

Brother Lib's favorite subject set to the music of The Young Rascals' Good Lovin' . Parodies don't get any livelier than this!

Press People

Press People

We can't live with 'em and we can't live without 'em. The group everyone loves to hate - the Press. A spoof of Randy Newman's Short People.

I've Got C-SPAN

I've Got C-SPAN

Brian Lamb of C-SPAN "gave it a 95" when he heard it ("it's got a good beat"). Based on the Happenings' I've Got Rhythm (dip-dip-dip-dip)
